Long overdue November Update

Katelynne and I went to Washington to visit my sister. It was so much fun. We shopped, took a ferry to Whidbey Island, baked goodies and hung out. It was a blast.

In no particular order.
The boys had their end of the season football team parties. They recieved their trophies while we all BBQ"d and had a great time. Did I mention Hunter"s team went to the championships...And yes Scott is his coach. So proud of both of them. They did lose the championship game but hey they made it that far!

Butter knife?!?

Today Katelynne was playing upstairs while I was doing laundry and kept going in the bathroom so I locked the door to prevent her from playing in there, BUT that did not stop her. She went downstairs got into the silverware drawer and pulled out a butter knife and brought it upstairs and began trying to unlock the bathroom door. She is too smart for her own good.

P.S. I've been bad but have good excuses....kinda....I have a ton of updating to do from last month which is on my to-do list so keep checking because more posts will follow. Love to ALL...

Halloween

The Wizard of Oz

First we went to our church for Trunk or Treat then Scott took the kids around our neighborhood while I stayed home to pass out candy. It was alot of fun. Oh, and Katelynne had the saying trick or treat down pat! It was too cute.

Lunch with Daddy

WE HAD A BLAST WITH DADDY!

Today we went to lunch with Scott... This is the boys last day of Fall Break. Tomorrow is back to school. We really enjoyed going to pick Daddy up from work and taking him out to lunch.

Not so inclined

I think it is so funny that my husband who is really mechanically inclined has to use our old can opener instead of our new pampered chef one because he can't quite figure it out...

Shoe Obsession

Katelynne is obsessed with shoes as any girl should be, right?
Today we went shopping and ofcoarse she got a pair of shoes. We went with Aunt Cindy and she feeds Katelynne's obsession. She is the "she-shes" Auntie as said from Katelynnes own words! She-Shes stands for shoes! Her eyes light up with every pair!
Here she is trying to put them on! By the way I do her hair daily but after nap she is always bowless! I will have to get a picture on here of her in ponys because she really does have the most beautiful hair.
Thanks again Auntie she-shes for the she-shes!

NO CAVATIES

Today I took Austin and Hunter to the dentist after school and boy I sure am proud of them. No cavaties and hardly any buildup! They are doing great on their oral hygiene. Maybe it has something to do with having their Uncle Chris as their dentist! Let's hear it for the boys!

Big girl bed for Katelynne??

She knows how to get the one side down on her crib and hop over! It just might be that time for the big girl bed! And it will be a princess bed for sure.

Buckles

Katelynne just loves to buckle everything making it that much harder next time Mommy tries to put her in the highchair, stroller, carseat, etc. What is the fascination? Kids sure have a way of making extra work.

You learn something everyday

Hunter came home from football practice yesterday with a huge scratch on his side. He said he got it when he was practicing tackles. He got it from one of the boys on his team. I asked Hunter if the boy said sorry, and Hunter replied; Mom, you don't say sorry in football.

A day in the life of a football mom...

Both Austin and Hunter had their first games today and let me tell you we are so proud. Both boys did awesome not to mention they both won too. I just love it when we are all there as a family cheering and having a great time! It was exausting but oh so fun! Katelynne was a trooper for getting up at 6 a.m. and being at the fields from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. rooting for her brothers. It was a great day!

Perfect gift for my mom (Grandma)

With 18 granchildren and 1 on the way this will make the best Christmas gift for Grandma... Now I just have to get to making it.

Pretty much True?

You Are Black Pepper

You may be considered ordinary by some, but you're far from boring.

You elevate the mood of any discussion, and people miss you when you're not around.

You are secretly very dominant and powerful. Most can only take you in small doses.
